Kucina Italian was co-founded by Alessandro Lo Giudice and Chef Gero Di Maria in June 2016. Driven by his love for his Italian heritage, culture, and the way food brings people together, Alessandro envisioned Singapore’s first authentic Italian halal restaurant — a welcoming place where people from all walks of life could gather at one table and experience the warmth, tradition, and joy of true Italian cuisine. To bring this vision to life, he partnered with Chef Gero Di Maria, whose culinary talent, experience, and personal journey as a Muslim revert gave the brand its heart and identity.
